ASUS just revealed two new gaming monitors, and they’re going all-in on speed and sharp visuals. First up is the ROG XG248Q5G-P — a 24-inch beast with a wild 610Hz refresh rate and a lightning-fast 0.1ms response time, thanks to its Super TN panel. It sticks to 1080p resolution and is clearly built for serious competitive players chasing every millisecond. It’s dropping in May with a price tag around $1,100.

The second model, the ASUS ROG XG32UCG, is a bit more balanced. It’s got a 32-inch IPS screen that hits 160Hz at 4K and can crank up to 320Hz at 1080p. Despite being larger and offering more resolution options, it’s actually half the price of the 610Hz model and launches this April.
Now, even though 610Hz isn’t an industry record, raw refresh rate isn’t everything. Right now, most major esports tournaments still use Zowie monitors. ASUS might have the tech to shake that up, but it’s gonna take some smart marketing and strong partnerships to pull it off.
