Valve has kept its promise and released a major update that brings Act 4 of the Crownfall in-game event. Players now have access to three storylines and the conclusion of the epic tale between Vengeful Spirit and Skywrath Mage.

The highlight of the update is undoubtedly the new hero, Kez. This samurai-bird character is unique in that he has two different skill sets depending on the weapon he wields. This is somewhat reminiscent of Troll Warlord, but Kez’s abilities differ significantly between his fighting styles.

Kez is an agility hero with huge carry potential, and some players who have already tried him in public matches are saying he's very strong. This is often the case with new heroes, either because developers struggle to find a balanced state immediately or because players initially lack strategies to counter the new character.

Additionally, Valve has announced the end date for Crownfall. The developers plan to keep the event running until January 15 of next year. Given how the deadlines have occasionally shifted, some may hope for an extension, but there's no guarantee. So, players have two months to complete Act 4 and finish any other acts they haven’t yet completed.
