The Dota 2 community is now in a waiting mode. The International has ended, but the fourth act of the Crownfall with a new hero Kez has not arrived yet. To make things a little bit more interesting, Valve released an update 7.37d. It can be considered relatively minor, yet some of its consequences are pretty big.

Most notable changes of Dota 2 7.37d update

  • Windranger: Heavy nerf to her ultimate with the Whirlwind facet
  • Arcane Boots: Valve increased their cost
  • Bracer: It no longer provides double bonus after 25:00
  • Mirana: heavy nerf to Solar Flare (less duration, no longer provides extra vision)
  • Ringmaster: Base strength and strength gain are lowered

The 7.37d update doesn't have a purpose of freshening the gameplay. Instead, it is focused on nerfing the most popular heroes as well as items. For example, Windranger's win rate dropped by 8%! Ringmaster is down by 6.5%, Sand King lacks almost 5% of win rate.

Also, some support items were nerfed. Some of the changes (like the Bracer one) are legit, but mostly the meta of auras will stay.

Which sets are in Collector's Cache 2?

Along with an 7.37d update, Valve also released the Collector's Cache 2, a chest with sixteen sets from the community to the community. There are sets for Crystal Maiden's persona, Invoker, Axe and many other heroes. We will highlight two of them. One is for Ancient Apparition: it reminds us of Pyramid Head, the legendary enemy from Silent Hill 2.

The set for Lion has some references to Berserk, the legendary Japanese manga which is considered one of the greatest of all time.
