Valve released a fresh update for Dota 2. It could have been called 7.37f if the changes affected more than one hero. The developers purposefully struck the latest hero in the game, Kez, with a nerfhammer. On the top level, Kez was considered an overpowered hero and was often banned. Now, Valve decided to weaken him.

The changes, however, are brutal. Not only did he receive increased cooldowns, but Echo Slash no longer cleaves and Raven's Veil no longer gives parry bonus (instead, it moved to the talent). At least, Valve brought a great QoL-improvement to the HUD, as players will have a more distinct idea of which stance Kez is currently using.

No other heroes received changes, and we can still expect new patches relatively in early 2025. The latest version, 7.37e was released on November 20, and the one before that got to us in early October. I hope, this gives perspective on Valve time and how fast they are to come up with balance changes.
