Six Invitational 2025 is in full swing, and we've witnessed two extremely intense gaming days with a total of 16 matches played. The schedule will be a bit more relaxed moving forward, allowing us to catch our breath. Unfortunately, this can't be said for the teams yet, as tomorrow two more teams will be eliminated from the Rainbow Six Siege World Championship.

The tournament format means that there are no easy matches in the group stage, and securing first place should provide a significant seed boost. That's why it's all the more surprising that two group champions are already packing their bags and heading home empty-handed. G2 Esports, a club that has won Rainbow Six Siege World Championships, and Virtus.pro, with its players who are two-time Six Invitational finalists, will not be playing in front of the crowd.

Another interesting team is M80, which received an official ruling regarding yesterday's scandal. The team's coach, Budega, has been disqualified for two years and will only be allowed to return after Six Invitational 2027. This harsh punishment will likely force the coach to switch games.

Let’s remember that only six teams will earn prize money. Tomorrow we will know the exact list of teams, as the third rounds in both the upper and lower brackets will be played. Stay tuned for more updates on the tournament and upcoming announcements.
