We've been waiting for news about the second CS2 Major for quite some time, and now everything is official. It’s heading to Budapest, Hungary. The dates are from November 24 to December 14, with fans able to attend every stage of the event.

First three rounds will be played from the 2000-seated arena. For the playoff matches, the action will move to the much larger MVM Dome, which can hold up to 20,000 fans. Tickets are already on sale: early stages range from €10 to €30, while playoff tickets cost between €35 and €125 for a single day.

Rumors about this Major have been floating around for nearly a year, so this news doesn’t come as a huge surprise. What’s more interesting now is the future: according to the owner of Aurora, there might be a Major in Germany in summer 2026 — likely IEM Cologne — and another in Serbia that winter, possibly run by PGL.

Before all that, though, the CS2 spotlight turns to Austin, Texas, where the next Major kicks off this June.
