Riot Games and the official Vietnamese esports league for League of Legends have announced the punishments for players, managers, and coaches involved in match-fixing. A total of 29 individuals and one organization from the VCS have been penalized.

In March 2024, the organizers of the Vietnam Championship Series Spring 2024 announced the suspension of the championship for an indefinite period and later continued the league in a reduced format. It was revealed that almost all participants in the league were involved in match-fixing. Initially, Riot Games mentioned 32 individuals involved in the scheme from almost all teams, but some from the preliminary list avoided punishment.

Ultimately, for proven cases of match-fixing and for concealing information about ongoing violations, the esports players received bans ranging from 6 to 36 months or even permanent bans. Additionally, the organization Rainbow Warriors lost the right to participate in esports championships hosted by Riot Games.

Representatives from Riot Games noted that they reserve the right to reassess the punishments if new information about the situation emerges.
