Six Invitational got its two-time champion qualified via the European LCQ

Although many esports scenes are just starting to return from the New Year break, the same cannot be said for Rainbow Six Siege. This week, we’ll find out all the teams that secured their spot in the World Championship through the Last Chance Qualifier.

The European LCQ has already concluded, and among the four competing teams, one stood head and shoulders above the rest. G2 Esports played three matches, won all three, and didn’t drop a single map!

G2 Esports is a legendary name in the Rainbow Six Siege scene. The organization has won two World Championships (in 2019 and 2023) and has also enjoyed periods of dominance on the international stage. However, even if we look at the championship roster from 2023, only Doki remains—a player Ubisoft once banned for excessive toxicity.

Still, this is just one of the potential storylines to follow. So far, we know the names of 15 out of the 16 participating teams. The North America LCQ will conclude later today, and the World Championship itself will take place from February 3 to 16 in Boston, USA.
