Studio Ice-Pick Lodge and publisher HypeTrain Digital have announced the development of Pathologic 3, the third installment in the Pathologic series. Essentially, this will be the long-awaited Bachelor campaign from the second game, now presented as a standalone title.

The events of the third part will again take place in the same small town, with Bachelor Dankovsky as the protagonist. He arrives in the town to stop death and save the city. A key feature of the new game will be the ability to rewind time, allowing players to return to specific events and change them in their favor. However, the 12-day timer will still remain in effect. Yet the time manipulation might not be a bad idea since it can enrich the gameplay experience if executed well.

The creators of the game aim to challenge conventional knowledge, norms, and patterns. According to their vision, the manipulation of time will complicate the perception of time as a concept and make players question whether the structure of our world is truly as obvious as it seems.

Pathologic 3 is expected to be released in 2025, the game already has a Steam page. All players who supported the sequel on Kickstarter will receive Pathologic 3 at no additional cost.
