The insider known as Dusk Golem shared details about the upcoming projects in the Resident Evil series. While blogger has occasionally provided incorrect data, this time it got vouched by the editor-in-chief of VGC, Andy Robinson.
What's important in this report? First of all, the Resident Evil 9 is riding on the lag train and we won't see in the upcoming twelve months at leaast. It will also not be shown in the summer of 2024. No details on reasons, so we're not going to speculate on that. As for other details, Capcom is also working on Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil Code: Veronica remakes. However, the current stages of production are unknown.
Also, we could expect the remake of the very first Resident Evil, but developers are busy with other projects. An updated version of Resident Evil 5 is not in the works either. Dusk Golem stated he confirmed the accuracy of the information with his sources. Andy Robinson has not yet published any additional details as well. Capcom has not made any announcements about the mentioned projects.
