Respawn has officially dropped the animated trailer for Sparrow, the new legend coming to Apex Legends in Season 25, called "Prodigy." Although the video leaked a few days ago, it’s now properly released for everyone to see.

The trailer tells Sparrow’s story: he seems to have been betrayed by his former allies but found a new family on the battlefield, eventually becoming a true star. We also get a first look at some of his abilities, like firing grenade-tipped arrows and using shock-infused shots — perfect for shaking up the fight.

Alongside Sparrow’s reveal, Respawn teased some upcoming changes: updates to the ranked system, tweaks to the Bocek Bow (which makes sense, given Sparrow's archery skills), and a mysterious warning to "pay close attention" — whatever that might hint at.

Even though Apex Legends isn’t as hot as it once was and the battle royale genre has cooled down a bit, the game is still going strong. Still, it feels like Apex might be entering its late phase — unless EA has some major surprises up its sleeve.
