Recently, heated debates have erupted around the officially non-existent third installment of the cult franchise. Well-known insider Osvaldatore, who previously reliably shared details about Apex Legends and the very fact of Titanfall 3's development, has revealed new information about the project:

  • The game is being built on Unreal Engine 5
  • Core development is nearing completion
  • A full-fledged story campaign (in the spirit of Titanfall 2)
  • Live service with classic battle passes and regular content updates
  • Main mode — Extraction (similar to Escape from Tarkov), but classics like TDM, Control, and Arenas will also be included
  • Apex Legends characters as playable operatives
  • Dynamic weather system affecting gameplay

According to him, an announcement could happen before the end of 2025, most likely at The Game Awards in December.

However, journalist Jeff Grubb firmly denies these rumors, calling them "fabrication". He suggests the source of the leaks might be a prototype from Steve Fukuda (director of the first game) that featured Titans, but this remains just his speculation.

Grubb's sources indicate that Respawn does indeed have a team experimenting with Titanfall mechanics. But the project is in its early stages, and key elements (like Titans or game modes) could still change. Grubb is certain: no full-fledged Titanfall 3 with a campaign and multiplayer should be expected in 2025 or the near future.
