Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon was released on August 25. The game is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5 and PS4. Mech action from FromSoftware studio became the first game from the series in 11 years. 

Online on Steam totaled 110,000 users just 1 hour after release. The game ranked as the 4th most played FromSoftware game online. It was behind Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (125 thousand), Dark Souls III (129 thousand) and Elden Ring (953 thousand).

The project received high grades from critics: the average score of the game on Metacritic is 87 points, and on Opencritic — 85. 

Players will be mercenaries in the game, going to the planet Rubicon 3. They must gain control of a single energy resource there. Players will have to pilot armored mechs and complete missions for megacorporations and rebel groups. 

Before the release of Armored Core 6, the publisher released a video starring actor Karl Urban.
