After the success of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, FromSoftware is already looking forwards to the future. A job listing for a "character or robot" modeler has been posted on FromSoftware's website without additional details.

It's not yet known which games FromSoftware is working on, but some insights can be gathered from interviews with game designer and game director Hidetaka Miyazaki. The developer mentioned that the next phase for FromSoftware will likely involve creating smaller games rather than another project on the scale of Elden Ring.

In May, Miyazaki stated that FromSoftware has a "strong desire" to continue the Armored Core franchise. Both Kadokawa and FromSoftware consider Armored Core VI, which was released in August 2023, a success. However, Miyazaki believes the studio can still improve the formula.

If we add two and two, the endless field of probabilities doesn't look so limitless, right? So, it is possible that the Armored Core franchise will have a development in one form or another. Armored Core VI DLC? Armored Core 7? Of course, we'll have to wait for more information from the studio itself.
