A new update patch for December has been released for the well-liked Castlevania Dominus Collection, which includes a number of bug fixes and new content. Comprising a range of games from the illustrious history of the Castlevania franchise, the cherished collection now offers a brand-new mode for one of its games as well as new ways for players to view the screens of the games they are currently playing.

Konami has now released Castlevania Dominus Collection ver. 1.0.3, which adds a brand-new Boss Rush Mode to Haunted Castle Revisited, in response to the popularity of the game despite one obvious Castlevania title omission. However, there is a small catch to the new mode: players have to beat the game before they can access it. Because DS games are dual-screen, the update patch also introduces new display layouts that let players adjust the placement of the various screens. Although a number of bugs were fixed, it's still unclear exactly which ones they were.

The latest update seems to be more significant than the previous one. In addition to a bug fix for Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, the October update included new artwork for Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. Intriguingly, the previous patch gave a minor bug that experienced players exploit in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin; the update jokingly calls it a feature.
