Sony has opened pre-orders for the team-based PvP shooter Concord, developed by Firewalk Studios, on the PS Store. The company also shared details about the game.
The shooter will be available in two editions: Standard and Deluxe. Buyers of the Deluxe version will get early access to the game 72 hours before release, 16 character skins, and the "Monarch" pack, which includes cosmetic items. Deluxe edition owners will also receive early access to the beta version for five people. Standard and Deluxe Editions cost $40 and $60, respectively.
All 16 starting heroes in Concord will be available to players, regardless of the edition purchased. All subsequent heroes and modes introduced through content updates will be available at no additional cost.
At launch, Concord will feature 12 maps set in various locations around the world. Players can level up their characters, unlocking cosmetic items and learning their stories. Concord will also offer weekly missions that allow players to unlock new entries in the galactic guidebook, providing more insight into the game’s universe.
A PlayStation Network account will be required to play Concord on both PS5 and PC. The release of Concord is scheduled for August 23, 2024. Beta testing for the game will take place in July.
