We already knew that Cristiano Ronaldo would be involved in some way in the upcoming game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. But we never expected that he would actually be a playable character. And yet, it’s true—one of the greatest footballers of all time is here to deliver the beatdown.
Ronaldo doesn’t part with his football, even in the heat of battle, seamlessly combining his athletic skills with martial arts techniques. His signature "Siu!" celebration and even his free-kick stance have made it into the game. A glimpse of his move set can be seen in the latest gameplay trailer.
The base City of the Wolves roster will feature 17 fighters, with five more planned for the first season of DLC content. The game launches on April 24 and will immediately be part of the Esports World Cup. Given that Ronaldo currently plays in Saudi Arabia, it’s not too surprising to see him appear in a game from a studio largely owned by Saudi investors.
