The talented Finnish studio Kuuasema, best known for Bike Unchained 3 and Astro Blade, has unveiled its newest creation: Cthulhu Keeper, a sinister fantasy strategy game that fuses stealth mechanics with deep tactical gameplay. Drawing inspiration from the chilling tales of H.P. Lovecraft and the cult-classic Dungeon Keeper, the game offers players a chance to embrace the darkness.
Set in the eerie backdrop of the 1920s, Cthulhu Keeper puts players in charge of a growing doomsday cult. You'll construct a hidden lair to house your devoted followers and the eldritch horrors you summon, sending them on missions to retrieve forbidden artifacts, recruit new believers, and elude the ever-watchful police. Each monstrous entity requires a meticulously designed chamber, built using ancient grimoires and mysterious relics. Meanwhile, your underground sanctuary must be fortified against rival cults and government enforcers with devious traps and relentless guards.
Through the power of arcane tomes and long-lost artifacts, players can call forth abominable creatures, each needing its own tailored dwelling. However, secrecy is key—evading the law and sabotaging competing factions will be crucial for survival. Clever defenses, strategic planning, and ruthless cunning will determine the fate of your cult.
Cthulhu Keeper is set to launch on Steam "soon," though the developers have yet to confirm an exact date.
