Steam users have added the team-based PvP shooter Deadlock to their wish lists nearly 900,000 times within four days of its official announcement. This was highlighted by specialists from the VG Insights service.
At the time of writing, Deadlock was ranked 28th in the list of most wished-for games on Steam. Deadlock also reached a peak of 98,000 concurrent players on Steam.
A few days after the announcement of Deadlock, members of the community created the website Deadlock Stats Tracker. This platform allows players to access match statistics and view the win percentage of heroes based on different player experience levels.
Among other features, Deadlock Stats Tracker provides data on which items contribute to a hero's victory most frequently. The site also allows users to study information about specific matches, which can be found using a match identifier.
Valve announced Deadlock on August 24, 2024. The MOBA-shooter is still in the early stages of development, and access to the game is currently available only by invitation from other players.
