Obelisk Studio has unveiled Displacement, a chilling first-person horror survival game that takes clear inspiration from the classic Condemned series. The Cyprus-based team has released a debut gameplay trailer that showcases the title’s grim tone and raw, intense combat.

In Displacement, players will descend into a chaotic nightmare, fighting to stay alive in a world drenched in violence and madness. Every confrontation becomes a brutal battle for survival, as players utilize fire, ice, fists, and makeshift weapons to take down relentless enemies.

The game features 20 different melee weapons, each with unique strengths, weaknesses, and finishing moves. From spiked bats to iron rods, every weapon has its own brutal personality. Moreover, the environment itself becomes a tool of destruction — players can smash objects, throw foes from ledges, and use the scenery to their advantage.

A standout mechanic is the dynamic temperature system, allowing players to heat or freeze objects using a powerful device. This mechanic adds a creative layer to both combat and puzzle-solving, encouraging players to think tactically in every encounter.

Displacement blends survival horror with savage action, promising a uniquely aggressive experience for fans of visceral gameplay and atmospheric dread.
