Moon Studios has unveiled a new trailer for The Breach, the largest update yet for their action RPG No Rest for the Wicked. Scheduled to launch on April 30, the update promises to deliver a wealth of new content, enhancing both gameplay and storytelling during early access.

Players can expect expansive new regions, doubling the size of current areas. All zones are handcrafted with no procedural generation, ensuring immersive exploration. The update also advances the main storyline, expanding the world’s lore in meaningful ways.

New enemy types are being introduced, along with fresh weapons like wands and gauntlets. Some areas will become infected, altering enemy composition and difficulty while granting unique rewards upon clearance. The item drop and enchantment systems are being revamped, and major changes are coming to food, shields, and storage chests. Fast-travel mechanics will also see improvements.

A new hardcore mode adds high stakes, allowing only one life before characters revert to standard mode. Building mechanics are now more efficient; workers will build faster when provided with food and ingredients. Composer Gareth Coker, known for Ori and Halo Infinite, contributes an original score for the update.

Due to significant system overhauls, players must create new characters to experience The Breach. Existing saves will remain available via the Legacy build. The next major patch will finally introduce four-player co-op.
