Electronic Arts has just unveiled the Businesses and Hobbies expansion for The Sims 4, and now they've dropped a brand-new gameplay trailer, giving us a closer look at what’s coming in the brand new expansion!
If you’ve played The Sims 2: Open for Business or The Sims 2: Freetime, you’ll feel right at home—this pack takes inspiration from both. It also builds on The Sims 4: Get to Work, expanding career paths and adding new hobbies for your Sims to explore.
But there’s more to business than just running a tattoo parlor! Pretty much any activity in the game can be turned into a profitable venture. Want to open a daycare for toddlers? Go for it. Feel like giving lectures? That’s an option too—and yes, it pays well!
Of course, no business thrives without employees. Each venture can have up to three Sims on staff, though you can also keep it a family-run operation.
A particularly exciting feature is the connection with previous expansions. If you own Cats Dogs, you can even open your very own cat café!
Turn your passion into a career—whether it’s a ceramics shop, tattoo studio, or training workshop. Charge customers by the hour or with a one-time entry fee. Plus, if you’re into body art, you’ll have the chance to design your own tattoos!
Businesses & Hobbies launches on March 6! Pre-orders are already available, and early adopters will get a special bonus: the Business Starter pack, featuring a decorative statue, a bakery display case, and a stylish desk lamp.
