EA Sports is back with another edition of its football simulator. The publisher shared the launch trailer. The video features the five athletes who appear on the cover of the deluxe edition: Gianluigi Buffon, Aitana Bonmatí, Jude Bellingham, Zinedine Zidane, and David Beckham.
The newest title is already available to those who purchased the more expensive editions on PC and consoles. Players with the standard edition will gain access to the game on September 27, a week later.
Early reviews from players have been largely negative, with only 36% of the 474 reviews at the time of writing being positive. The game has been heavily criticized for Electronic Arts' perceived greed, numerous bugs and crashes, and issues with recognizing PlayStation controllers. Additionally, the game is not compatible with Steam Deck due to its anti-cheat system.
However, there have been some positive reviews. These players encourage others not to be too harsh on developers, accepting the "conveyor belt" philosophy of annual releases. They also praised the smoother and more responsive player controls, calling the game a "good update" to the previous version.
