Not only does the PC version not only look significantly better than the PS5 version, but it also runs more stable, which has led the community to discuss the need for an update for Sony's console.

Currently, the PS5 version of the game shows blurry visuals in performance mode, and the only option for owners of the base console is to wait for patches. According to game director Naoki Hamaguchi, the improvements are possible within the technical limitations of the platform.

“After releasing the promo for the PC version, we received a lot of requests for a similar update for the PS5 version, and I think we'd like to do it at some point within the limits of what's possible with the PS5 version's performance.”

Players are hoping that Square Enix will go along with fan requests and improve the visuals on consoles.

Although the team is working hard on the sequel, game director Hamaguchi asked fans to wait as more details will be revealed later. Hamaguchi claims that 2024 was a prosperous year for Final Fantasy Rebirth, the second installment of the trilogy. P

layers from all over the world took notice of it and it won multiple awards. The third installment of Final Fantasy VII will present special challenges as the developers aim to increase the game's fan base. Remarkably, Grand Theft Auto VI was among the titles that caught Hamaguchi's interest this year. The director said he supports the Rockstar Games team, saying he thinks they are under a lot of pressure because of GTA V's amazing success.
