Fun Dog Studios has released the latest major content patch for their early access survival shooter The Forever Winter. The update, titled Nosebleed, brings a fresh cooperative gameplay mechanic centered around building a powerful railgun system.

Players can now interact with a new NPC named Bunko, who becomes available after specific progression milestones. Once unlocked, Bunko offers missions to collect components necessary for assembling a three-part railgun structure. What makes this feature stand out is that crafting takes place in real-time, continuing even when players are offline.

This new system requires cooperation between three different players. Each must carry and contribute a unique piece of the railgun. Once completed and installed, the weapon becomes a permanent fixture — it can't be dismantled. If players want to build another, they must start the entire crafting process from scratch. However, future updates may allow for reusing old systems.

Alongside the core content, developers have also launched the game's first paid DLC, which introduces a cosmetic skin pack for characters. Known for its regular updates, The Forever Winter continues evolving through new features and gameplay mechanics, expanding its cooperative survival experience.
