Ocean Drive Studio has released an extensive eight-minute gameplay video for their upcoming survival title, God Save Birmingham. This unique project sets players in the heart of a medieval English city — Birmingham — now ravaged by bloodthirsty zombies. The footage showcases exploration, scavenging, and brutal melee combat as the protagonist struggles to survive.

In God Save Birmingham, players take on the role of one of the few survivors left in a XIV-century Birmingham plagued by the undead. The full release will offer a story-driven campaign and the chance to explore a meticulously recreated medieval city, while the early access version focuses on sandbox gameplay within one of the town’s districts.

Survival hinges on realistic physics, requiring players to build barricades, craft tools, scavenge for food, and defend themselves using improvised weapons. Along the way, players will learn about the daily life of medieval artisans and townsfolk through the detailed environment.

Although a release date has not been announced yet, God Save Birmingham already has a presence on Steam, where players can wishlist and follow the game’s development.
