With the release of a major update on March 20, Helldivers 2 developers have unveiled a premium battle pass titled Borderline Justice. This new addition draws inspiration from the Wild West, blending classic cowboy aesthetics with futuristic weaponry and armor.

The battle pass introduces several unique weapons:

  • The R-6 "Deadeye" lever-action rifle;
  • The LAS-58 Talon laser revolver;
  • The TED-63 dynamite bundle, equipped with a customizable timer for explosions.

In addition to the arsenal, players will gain access to three armor sets (two in the battle pass and one in the premium shop). These sets come with a special perk: they reduce reload times for secondary weapons, decrease recoil, and speed up holstering and drawing.

The update also brings a new stratagem: a rocket pack that allows players to hover in place mid-air, providing a strategic vantage point to eliminate enemies from above. Another highlight is a new booster that increases the number of samples collected during missions.

As with previous battle passes, Borderline Justice includes traditional cosmetic rewards such as a new rank, profile pictures, emojis, and a set of capes.

Approximately half of the patch focuses on balancing weapons and stratagems. Players can rest assured, as most weapons have received significant upgrades. Improvements include better ergonomics, increased damage output, enhanced armor penetration, extended usage limits, and more.
