The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has announced the full list of winners for the BAFTA Games Awards 2025. This awards ceremony is interesting as it is not a popularity contest among viewers, but the vote among professionals of the screen industry (although it is more relevant to movies and TV series). The evening’s big winner was Astro Bot, earning five awards, including GOTY and Best Game Design.

Some of the big names also got their awards. Metaphor: ReFantazio from Atlus earned the award for Best Narrative, and Helldivers 2 was recognized for both its online features and music.

Meanwhile, Vampire Survivors won the Best Evolving Game nomination, beating out heavy hitters like WoW and Final Fantasy XIV, and the poker-themed roguelike Balatro, created by solo developer LocalThunk, stood out as the best debut title of the year.

The thriller Still Wakes the Deep won in three categories, which is second best to Astro Bot, but its awards include triumphs in both Best Leading and Supporting Performances.
