S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is one of the most talked about games of November. The reason is that it has a captivating atmosphere which was ruined by lots of bugs and technical flaws. It may remind many people of Cyberpunk 2077, and CD Projekt Red managed to fix the game. Now, the GSC Game world is moving a long road, and the first step is done, as the update 1.0.1 aims to fix over 650 bugs, gameplay errors, and other technical issues.
The patch includes improvements to optimization in specific areas, adjustments to AI behavior, fixes to avoid endless combat music loops, balance tweaks, and corrections to cutscenes. Non-player characters have had issues with their eyes and teeth resolved, while buildings have been cleared of floating furniture.
The developers assured players that work on the game and future patches is ongoing. They encouraged the community to promptly report any discovered bugs, offer suggestions, and share feedback.
Despite its launch issues, Stalker 2 has received very positive reviews from players, with sales quickly surpassing two million copies. If you want to have more fps in the game, read our optimization guide.
