Despite the wave of glowing reviews for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the developers aren’t ready to rest on their laurels just yet. Warhorse Studios has delivered some exciting news for those eagerly awaiting the game’s hardcore mode. The grueling challenge is just around the corner — it’s set to launch next week, though an exact date hasn’t been revealed yet.

To tease the upcoming update, the developers shared images showcasing some of the penalties players will have to choose from at the start of their journey with Henry. Among the options are excessive sweating, shyness, and even sleepwalking — which could cause the protagonist to wake up in a random location.

There will be no map, quest markers or fast travel. The little bunny that usually alerts players when their stealth has failed will also be removed. More detailed information is expected to drop right before the new mode goes live.
