It's been a while since we've had any major announcements about the Persona series, hasn't it? Atlus is likely deep into the long and meticulous development of Persona 6 (we say that because there's been no official confirmation yet, but the series is simply too big to be left alone). Still, players need fresh content, and sometimes, paying attention to small details—like a website domain name—can provide food for thought.

As noted by blogger ScrambledFaz, Atlus has registered the domain name p4re.jp. Deciphering it isn't difficult—Persona 4 Remake, especially considering we already have p3re.jp for Persona 3 Reload. Rumors of Persona 4 and Persona 2 remakes have been circulating for a while, but now we seem to have some real evidence to back them up.

Interestingly, the domain for Persona 3 Reload was registered in March 2023, and the remake was officially announced just three months later. If pattern is followed again, we might hear about a remade Persona 4 very, very soon.
