The project ID@Xbox brings interesting new titles. Recently, there was a presentation of a cooperative FPS called Jump Dive that was developed by Keepsake Games, a studio formed by people who worked on Minecraft, It Takes Two and Mirror’s Edge.
The game has its official gameplay trailer:
Here are some more details:
- In Jump Ship, you play as a team of four. You travel through the universe and complete various missions. As a team, you need to keep an eye on the condition of the spaceship.
- The game does not have a PvP mode.
- Journalists call the shooter from Keepsake Games a "mix of Sea of Thieves and Left 4 Dead". In it, players can also capture other spacecraft and fight enemies.
- The team will also have to manage the ship's functions in a mini-game style similar to FTL: Faster Than Light. To reach any of the planets and survive during space battles, players will need to upgrade weapons and repair the fleet.
- Jump Ship will feature various tasks that can be either short or really time-consuming. The latter may be divided into several episodes, and completing them will earn a significant reward.
Jump Dive will be released on Xbox and PC. The date of release is yet to be announced.
