The Golden Age of Hollywood simulator enters Early Access on April 10. Alongside this, studio Weappy (creators of the This Is the Police series) has announced ambitious plans to support their project by publishing a detailed roadmap for the coming months. The game, which allows players to experience life as a film mogul during the 1930s-50s, will receive regular content updates and mechanical improvements.

2024 Update Plan:

  • April: Early Access launch with subsequent fixes and refinements based on player feedback
  • May: Major story update with new quests and special events
  • June: Addition of social mechanics (parties, focus groups) and expansion of the theater system
  • July: Introduction of two new film production formats – "assembly line production" (B-movies) and "mid-budget films"

Main Event of the Year – Second Campaign Act (planned for Q4 2024) will bring:

  • A franchise creation system
  • International film distribution
  • A historical McCarthyism scenario with censorship and "witch hunts" in Hollywood

The developers emphasize that Hollywood Animal is not just a management game, but a deep immersion into the era. Players will negotiate with studio bosses, manage star reputations, battle competition and censorship, as well as open their own theaters.

The game is currently in active development, and the studio invites everyone to influence its evolution through the Early Access program.
