Every big fighting game developer worked hard to bring a surprise for their devoted fan base during EVO Japan 2024. The event was so big that we had new character trailers for Akuma in Street Fighter 6, Lidia Sobieska in Tekken 8 and Slayer in Guilty Gear -Strive-.

Oh wait, we have yet to talk about the last one. ARC System Works released a trailer for this charismatic vampire.

Can you imagine that it's been more than twenty years since the debut of Slayer in the Guilty Gear franchise? His first appearance was in Guilty Gear XX in 2002, which was quite some time ago. 

Now, Slayer is the final character of the Season 3 DLC line-up for Guilty Gear -Strive-. If you have Season Pass 3, you will gain access to him on May 30. Other players will have to pay some money. 

Also, it is worth noting that Season 3 will not be the last for Guilty Gear -Strive- as developers have already been working on Season 4. That means we will have Strive for at least a couple more years.
