Patch 1.1 adds various enhancements to A-Life 2.0 in STALKER 2. For example, it resolves the issue of NPCs spawning behind the player's back. It also significantly increases the distance at which A-Life NPCs are visible to the player, allowing players to encounter roaming NPCs across the Zone more frequently. Furthermore, it addresses the aggressive optimization issue that prohibited A-Life NPCs from appearing in Offline. It also improves A-Life NPC navigation offline using GameGraph (a global AI navigation map).

And that isn't all. The upgrade increases A-Life NPCs' desire to expand territory and actively attack adversaries and mutants. Oh, and the groups investigating the Zone have become more diversified in terms of possible factions and group sizes.

Patch 1.1 includes over 50 fixes for foliage, texture flickering, navigation meshes, and collisions. As a result, the game should be more polished. Furthermore, it resolves the issue in which the player was unable to load existing saves once the title and Steam process were prematurely stopped.

GSC GameWorld has also implemented several performance improvements. The developers believe that performance has improved in the map's most densely inhabited sections. They've also investigated over 200 crashes and rectified the majority of them. This new update addresses a problem with visual artifacts in the In-Game UI using DLSS. Furthermore, it addresses performance issues with NVIDIA RTX 3000 series GPUs while using AMD FSR Frame Generation.

Update 1.1 includes several repairs and tweaks to the AI, main quests, and side missions.
