The Star Wars universe expands once again with the official unveiling of Star Wars: Zero Company, a brand-new tactical strategy title presented by EA, Bit Reactor, Respawn Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games. The project is targeting a 2026 launch across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles. Revealed through a cinematic announcement trailer, the game will focus on a small elite squad in the heart of the Clone Wars conflict.
Players will lead Zero Company, a ragtag team assembled under the leadership of ex-Republic officer Hux. Among the squad members are iconic archetypes, including a Jedi warrior, a Mandalorian fighter, and a seasoned Clone Trooper. Together, they must face a devastating galactic threat and execute high-stakes missions in turn-based combat.
While gameplay remains largely under wraps, the footage indicates a strong tactical design similar to the XCOM series, with strategic positioning and unit abilities playing a major role. The developers aim to merge cinematic storytelling with smart combat to deliver a unique Star Wars single-player experience.
“We believe fans will love the layered combat and heartfelt story that emerges from the characters of Zero Company,” said the creators. More reveals are expected as development progresses.
