The first-person shooter genre has always been a big part of the gaming industry. There are lots and lots of great games which were created during last thirty years, and some of them are available on Steam with great discount, as Valve has started the Steam FPS Fest.

The FPS Fest is one of the many events on Steam where a certain genre is highlighted and lots of discounts are applied. During this sale, Steam users can purchase first-person shooters and action games at great prices. 

One of the features of this fest is the Fallout franchise. After the great start of the TV series, many people unfamiliar with games now have the chance to experience these classics. Steam offers up to eighty per cent off (Fallout 76, for example, has this maximal discount).

You might also want to look at the new System Shock (-55%), FarCry 6 (-75%), Back 4 Blood (-90%), and DOOM Eternal (-67%). Steam FPS Fest will last for about a week, and it will end on April 22. Also, you can claim a free avatar frame, animated avatar and animated sticker in the points shop.
