Activision has announced a new crossover for the online shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone. The iconic heroes from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series will once again make their way into the game. This isn't the first time these four charismatic turtles have appeared in an Activision shooter.

The developers haven't shared details on what the collaboration will involve or when it will begin (they say "soon"). However, the resource CODWarfareForum has already shared some unconfirmed findings.

It’s speculated that the operators will receive skins for all four protagonists (though it’s a shame that April O'Neil, Master Splinter, and Shredder are not mentioned). New weapons will also be introduced for close combat or finishers: a skateboard, katana, nunchucks, and a staff. The main events of the crossover will take place on the Grind map, which is a skatepark fitting the theme.

At the same time, fans in the comments aren't very excited about this announcement, but it’s not because TMNT is an unpopular or disliked franchise. The issue lies with the current state of Black Ops 6. The game is riddled with bugs and cheaters, which has caused a significant drop in its online player base. It feels like a collaboration during a crisis, and it’s unclear when (or if) it will end.
