Electronic Arts held a special livestream to prepare players for celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Sims series. During the event, they revealed the gifts and events awaiting The Sims 4 players during these festive weeks.

The main celebration will kick off on February 4. The Sims 4 will receive an update introducing over 70 new free items! On the same day, a new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," will begin. By completing a series of simple missions, players can unlock retro-style items and collect a new set.

Additionally, starting February 6, a new season titled Motherlode will begin in The Sims 4. However, details about what it will include remain under wraps.
