This winter, Titan Quest 2 will launch in early access, and the developers are revealing more details about the action RPG. For instance, a fresh gameplay video from the demo at Gamescom 2024 was commented on by the lead systems designer and technical art director.

The developers claim that the sequel has retained the atmosphere of the first game, with its ancient Greek mythology and picturesque locations.

Exploration won't be a mandatory part of Titan Quest 2, but curious players will be rewarded for their efforts. The locations will also be filled with monsters — although the combat shown in the demo looks relatively easy, as it only showcases the beginning of the game after the prologue.

Additionally, character progression will be deepened by both active and passive skills. There will also be modifiers that enhance specific attributes. The appeal of these modifiers lies in their flexibility — players can swap them in and out at almost any time, allowing them to experiment and revert back as needed.

It's important to note that Titan Quest 2's early access will only be available on PC, with the final version slated to release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
