Valve keeps working hard on Deadlock, bringing different updates to the game. Tonight, they introduced ranked matchmaking. Considering that there are different Deadlock tournaments, the addition of the ladder was a logical step.
How can I play ranked in Deadlock?
There are three basic requirements.
- You need to finish 50 games.
- You must have zero behaviour penalties.
- You don't have restrictions for report system abuse.
For each region, there will be time slots when the ranked matchmaking is available. The first three-hour window is from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM; the second is from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, so the prime time is covered.
It is also important to know that you can't enter ranked matchmaking in a party - only solo queue.
What are the ranks in Deadlock?
Deadlock ladder will have eleven different medals with six levels in each. Currently, the medals will be updated each week, and you will need to play seven matches per week to get a rank.
Ranked matchmaking in Deadlock will go live on October 15. First medals will be distributed a week later, on October 22.
