After Amazon enjoyed the success of its Fallout TV Series, the company decided to once more take a step towards the iconic gaming franchise. This time, they will produce a Tomb Raider live-action series. This was announced by the company on their website. Release will happen on the Prime Video (did you expect anything different?), but there is no confirmed release date yet.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge is announced to be the writer and one of the executive producers of the project. Crystal Dynamics studio will also be involved in its production.

Can you imagine Tomb Raider without Lara Croft? Luckily, the executives can't do that either, so she will be the protagonist and we're promised to hop onto the exciting adventure.The creators of the upcoming live-action have promised to carefully honor the legacy of the iconic heroine.

The lead role in the series has not been announced yet, and so are the plot details.If we speak about Tomb Raider games, there were many women who became a prototype of Lara Croft, so there are many possibilities (although many of us do remember Angelina Jolie in the movies).
