At a special press event, NVIDIA presented a comparison of the new RTX 50 series graphics cards to the previous generation RTX 40 series and revealed how much performance has been increased without DLSS 4 technology.

The flagship RTX 5090 was 30% faster than the RTX 4090, while the RTX 5080 beats the RTX 4080 by 15%. In the mid-range segment, the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 showed a 20% gain relative to the RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070.

While the performance gains in this generation were less significant than the previous generation, NVIDIA emphasized the importance of new features such as frame-rate multigeneration. This technology allows for more impressive results when using DLSS 4.
