In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Elon Musk — the entrepreneur leading SpaceX, Tesla, and Twitter — revealed a new title among his achievements: one of the strongest Diablo IV players in the world.
Musk shared that he recently reached the top 20 global players in Diablo IV, mentioning that only two Americans are in this ranking, with the other holding the top spot. Until recently, Musk held 19th place, though he’s now moved to 20th.
Musk earned his position on the Diablo IV Pit leaderboard, which tracks how quickly players can complete the Pit, a challenging, multi-level, randomly generated dungeon. This leaderboard is unofficial and may not be entirely accurate, as it's based on player-submitted records.
Nevertheless, Musk's achievement is impressive: the leaderboard currently has 697 entries, and he managed to complete The Pit in 2 minutes and 45 seconds on the highest difficulty. He achieved this using the new Spiritborn class, introduced in the Vessel of Hatred expansion.
Diablo IV isn’t Musk's only gaming interest. He has previously shared his experiences with Elden Ring and Cyberpunk 2077, and he’s claimed that he was once one of the world’s top players in Quake.
