Amazon has debuted the first teaser for the second season of its hit series Fallout, confirming a December 2025 premiere. The teaser offers a glimpse into a grim, radioactive future set in the iconic ruins of New Vegas.
Season 2 picks up where the first season ended, continuing the story with new dangers and deeper journeys into the Mojave wastelands. Despite being disrupted by severe wildfires in Los Angeles earlier this year, the production wrapped in May. Actor Walton Goggins marked the occasion in a behind-the-scenes video where he dramatically peeled off his synthetic skin.
The show's creators, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, emphasized their enthusiasm for the next chapter, saying the creative team “will joyfully destroy the world again for the fans.” Viewers can expect a larger scope in Season 2, and with Season 3 already under development, the series appears to be just gaining momentum. Reports suggest the show could extend to six full seasons.
Veron Sanders, Amazon’s global TV head, shared his excitement:
“We are absolutely thrilled that our global Prime Video customers can further immerse themselves in the wonderfully surreal and gripping world of Fallout. Alongside our incredible partners at Bethesda Games and Bethesda Softworks, we’re excited to announce Season 3 of Fallout well ahead of the eagerly awaited premiere of the second.”
