Amazon has debuted the first teaser for Spider-Noir, the upcoming live-action series starring Nicolas Cage as a noir version of Spider-Man. The project, co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, is set to premiere in 2026. Cage previously promised fans a full season of 8 episodes.

The series transports viewers to an alternate-universe 1930s New York, where an aging Peter Parker, now a seasoned detective, navigates crime and corruption in a gritty noir landscape. Notably, the show will be available in two versions: one in full color and another in classic black and white, enhancing the vintage detective aesthetic.

Behind the scenes, Spider-Noir is being helmed by showrunners Oren Uziel (Mortal Kombat) and Steve Lightfoot (The Punisher). The cast includes Lamorne Morris (The Christmas Chronicles) as journalist Robbie Robertson and Brendan Gleeson (28 Days Later) in a villainous role yet to be detailed.

With the teaser now live, fans are beginning to get a glimpse of this darker, stylized take on the iconic Marvel character. Nicolas Cage’s unique voice and presence are expected to bring a fresh edge to the role, especially in a series that aims to blend superhero themes with detective noir storytelling.
