Black Mirror has carved out its own niche, and many fans are gearing up to dive into the anthology for a seventh time. The six new episodes are set to release next Thursday.
Despite the fact that the total runtime for Season 7 is a perfect six hours, some episodes are notably longer than others. The longest of them all is the finale, titled "USS Callister: Into Infinity". This episode—a direct sequel to the fan-favorite Season 4 opener—will run for a whopping 88 minutes.
Another feature-length episode is "Hotel Reverie", clocking in at 76 minutes. This story follows Hollywood actress Brandy Friday, who signs on for a high-tech remake of an old British film—only to find herself transported into another dimension, where she is forced to follow a bizarre, rigid script.
On the shorter end of the spectrum, "Plaything" is Season 7's briefest episode, running for 45 minutes. The synopsis teases a futuristic London, where an eccentric man accused of murder appears to have some mysterious connection to a 1990s video game, one that harbors evolving AI lifeforms within it.
The entire season will be available for streaming exclusively on Netflix.
