Over the years, director James Gunn has become one of the staples of superhero movies. Some people think of him as their last hope. With such aura many people want to have a sneak peek at the upcoming Superman movie. And recently a five-minute video was published.

It is not a world premiere, as this video was first shown at the CinemaCon in Las Vegas. The video became publicly available two days after the presentation.

The clip features Superman’s dog, Krypto, who, according to the creators, plays an important role in the story. In the footage, the dog drags Superman, in a critical condition, back home, where he is met by a group of robots who offer him help.

Superman is the first film in the revamped DC Studios universe. The stakes are high, as Warner Bros. desperately needs a huge W during tough times. The plot focuses on a young Superman, trying to balance his Kryptonian identity with his human life.

Superman will be released in theaters on July 11, 2025.
