Adult Swim has released the first official teaser for Rick and Morty Season 8, giving fans a glimpse of the outrageous adventures ahead. The teaser hints at an episode featuring space Christians wielding cross-shaped weapons and guarding an object that Rick desperately wants to acquire.

While the full synopsis remains under wraps, the creators have assured fans that major characters like Summer,Jerry, both Beths, and others from past seasons will return. Expect plenty of intergalactic chaos and bizarre science fiction concepts.

The season is set to premiere on May 25, marking a return after a year and a half since the last installment. Although a structured release schedule has not been provided, episodes are anticipated to release weekly.

A notable change this season is the introduction of new voice actors for the titular characters. Ian Cardoni ("I.R.L.") and Harry Belden ("It's Christmas Again") take over from Justin Roiland, who was removed from the series due to legal controversies.
