Netflix just dropped the first teaser for the third and final season of Squid Game, and it's set to premiere on June 27, 2025. This is your spoiler alert — if you haven’t seen Season 2 yet, you might want to stop reading here.

The teaser starts with something unexpected: Seong Gi-hun is alive and climbing out of a coffin. We also get a glimpse of a new lottery-style game, and yes, the creepy VIP watchers are back too. Things only get darker from there. In one of the final scenes, you hear a baby crying, hinting that Kim Jun-hee might actually give birth in the middle of the deadly challenges.

The story picks up right after the intense ending of Season 2. Gi-hun is still reeling from a failed rebellion, the loss of his friend, and being betrayed by the Front Man. But the twisted game isn’t over. Now, Gi-hun and the remaining survivors are forced into even more brutal and terrifying trials. The teaser makes it clear: just when you think things can’t get worse in Squid Game, they absolutely do.
